I just finished reading "Boot Camp" by Todd Strasser today. He is the author of "Give a boy a gun" and "Cant get there from here" among others. I really enjoyed this touching story which mixes true facts and a fictional plot together. In "Boot Camp" Garret's parents decide to send him to boot camp. So one night, he is kidnapped and is on his way to the isolated camp. He is beaten and hurt worse than he would imagine he could stand up to. Did Garret really do something that deserved him being sent here? Will he let his brain get rewired or will he find a way to escape? Find out in this touching story by Todd Stasser!
